Receive up to $150,000 to cover a maximum of 50% of eligible project costs that remove barriers to business and job growth, support investment attraction, strengthen sector and regional partnerships, and diversify regional economies in rural Ontario. This stream is delivered under the Rural Ontario Development (ROD) program, which replaced the Rural Economic Development (RED) program.
Who is eligible
Municipalities, Indigenous communities or organizations, local services boards, and not-for-profit organizations in eligible rural areas of Ontario. Small businesses apply through the separate Business Development Stream.
